7519 Woodman Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91405, USAJob DescriptionPosted Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11:00 PMUnder the direction of the BluCar Operations Manager, the BluCar Facility Manager is responsible for leading the BluCar yard staff to achieve customer service goals and ensure BluCar processes are implemented and followed for all yard functions. The Facility Manager will lead their team to facilitate a unique experience for customers by implementing and maintaining best practices that meet company policy, quality, and service expectations.Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, develop and motivate staff members
• Ensure performance is within company standards
• Employee scheduling, time and attendance management
• Cash handling to include daily bank deposits
• Monitor yard inventory and purchase as needed
• Conduct performance reviews according to company schedules
• Plan and lead meetings per company standards
• Contract maintenance (certificates of insurance for vendors)
• Monitor and maintain yard fence and facility and equipment maintenance
• Ability to complete all job tasks for positions supervised
• Compliance with company equipment and safety requirements
• Ability to work on mechanical problems present on vehicles
• Handle employee/customer service issues
• Travel as neededRequirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive detailing or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing, car washing, or related work preferred, with a strong understanding of detailing techniques and products.
• Knowledge of automotive cleaning products, equipment, and techniques, including paint correction, waxing, and interior cleaning, with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of the detailing process, from cleaning and polishing to paint correction and touch-up.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods, in a fast-paced environment.
